Well this may have been the hardest workout I have ever done, for 2 reasons 1) It was my third interval session this week and 2) I was still recovering from Thursday so the legs felt like cement. This workout was so evil John would only say what the next interval was and that the intervals added up to 4200m the rest was a suprise. It went like this:
400,1600,800,200,400,800 good workout though I finished the final 800 in 2:29 which was 1 second faster than I was supposed to hit it in. The last 800 was kind of fun he got us to run “one gear down” and then when he yelled go at around 200m we were to go as hard as we good, this was fun as hell I love racing around the curve up the straight. Brutal lactic acid headache after.
