Had to skip the VFAC intervals my back/butt is still to sore, for that kind of running. Did an easy 13km. Also bike commuted, so almost 2 hrs of base aerobic work.

Pre-race Workout

Easy workout did 3 laps around Lost Lagoon (1 mile x 3) then 4x100m strides. I feel pretty good race should be alright tommorrow, I have 4 other VFAC members that I can try to pace off, if I can hold on to them I should have a pretty good time.

I couldn’t do the VFAC intervals so I went to the track. Got a pre-10k workout from RW. 2(4×200,4×100) all at 90%. Legs felt fine after didn’t take alot out of me which is the point, workout is suppossed to get you used to moving quickly.

Blood

Last Friday I got the results of a blood screen, the Doctor noticed I had low Iron and Hemoglobin levels which is not the greatest thing since oxygen binds to the iron/hemoglobin which is kind of important when running, anyways he has me on Iron supplements three times a day with Vitamin C, he says [...]
