I had a Max VO2 test in the AM before work, the test was part of a research study at UBC. These tests are kind of brutal, this was done on a bike so it was quite hard for me, I cycle but not like that.

I scored a 59.9 which is alright but not for elite running you need a 70ml/kg+, Lance Armstrong one of the greatest endurance athletes on the planet has a VO2 of 83ml/kg! I think I would have scored higher if it was done on the treadmill/running and also if I had the proper blood chemistry which I am having problems with. I want to have it retested once the Iron/Hemoglobin is back to normal levels and also try to do it on the treadmill since I train as a runner.
