Summit Seeker Page Launched

August 18th, 2005 · No Comments

The Grouse Mountain Run summit seeker page was launched today.
Description from:
http://hiking.grousemountain.com/grousegrind/summitseekers

Grouse Mountain’s Summit Seeker program will allow you to monitor your performance, see how you rank against other Summit Seekers, and measure your climbs in the equivalent vertical footage of other world famous summits.

How does it work?
Purchase a Summit Seeker Card, containing a radio frequency chip, from Grouse Mountain. Swipe your pass at the reader at the base of the Grouse Grind, and again at the top of the trail, and your time will appear on the monitor at Alpine Guest Services in the Peak Chalet. Your personalized results may also be printed for you at Alpine Guest Services.

Also, as a registered user of the Grouse Mountain Hiking Community and a Summit Seeker, you can access your Summit Seeker results online! Access your Grouse Grind Training Log to track your progress and see how you stack up against other Grinders. See how you rank amongst all Summit Seekers or compare to others in your age and gender categories.
