Kneeknacker Training Week 4 (May 15-21)

A pretty decent week of training. 3 quality strength days.
Mon: Bike 1:00
Tue: Bike 1:00 / 54:00 run 7xHill repeats 1:30min up
Wed: Bike 1:10 / 55:00 Run
Thu: Bike 1:10 / 54:00 Run
Fri: Bike 1:20
Sat: 2:07 tough run. Grouse Mountain base-> along the Baden Powell to Mountain Highway up Mountain Highway to Grouse Mountain Top Chalet. The run up was at a pretty good pace, we covered Mnt. Highway in 1:10. That could be one of the best strength building runs around. Matt was able to hang on the whole time, Joel dropped back he is still in recovery mode from the Vancouver Marathon.

Sun: 1:11 Headed back upto Grouse Mountain with Tara and a couple of her friends. They headed up the Grind, I ran up the Skyline Trail to Baden Powell back to Grouse Mountain swiped my Summit Seeker and went at decent clip up the Grind covering it in 36:00.

So this week I climbed over 5000ft which sounds like alot but I will have to double this over the next few weeks if I want to have a decent Kneeknacker.
