I went from being the fittest I have ever been to injured in a span of 2 weeks.
So it goes.
This will be a learning lesson. I should have taken time off after the toe injury. I used my left leg as a crutch to reduce the impact on my right leg this has lead to a possible stress fracture (still need a Bone Scan but the Dr. said she is almost positive that it is). This means no running for several weeks.
Cycling is OK because it is no impact. The Grind feels alright as long as hold back a bit.
My coach said a simple test to see if I am ready to run is the hopping test.
Hop on the leg if you feel no pain you can start your gradual return to running.
So here is last weeks training:
Mon: Off
Tue: Bike 1:00
Wed: Bike 1:30
Thu: Bike 1:30
Fri: Bike 1:45
Sat: Bike 1:45
Sun: Grind 34:45
