Two weeks of crap training. I think part of my problem may have been shoes. I just went out an bought a pair of very cushy Asics Cumulus. I haven’t worn anything so protective in years. I used to be able to get buy wearing racing flats or lightweight performance trainers for pretty much anthing… those days are probably gone.
Anyways here is this weeks training.
Bike: commute 5.5 hours total.
Run :
Tues 38 minutes 3K at just above Tempo pace.
Thur: 35 minutes, it was very windy out so I just did an easy jog, running back into the wind was a little challenging.
Sun: 57:30 in the UBC Endowment lands. Felt good to be on the trails. This was my longest run in over 3 months. Amazing how brutal my endurance is it litterally feels like I am starting to run all over again.
