Fit and Sick?

Pezcycling has another great Tool box describing the relationship between training and sickness. I have experienced this too often in the last year, I litteraly ran myself into the ground.

The consensus conclusion is that a little bit of exercise and fitness is terrific for strengthening your immune system, but either too little or too much both have the effect of weakening your immunity and increasing the risk of contracting minor infections like colds and the flu.

    An interesting aside to this article is the fact that your body is most succeptable to sickness within the first 8hours of any sustained effort (racing or training). I find this to so very true for my own body
