I decided to take a clean break from running for 2 weeks which seems to be helping. I never like taking two steps backwards to go two steps forward but I had to do this in this case or I may never heal.
I have also started riding my XC mountain bike to work to do some rips though the endowment lands a couple days a week which is great fun, the park is almost empty before work so I can get some good speed going. This rips make me realize how much I miss XC and I am thinking of doing the Cow Trail Classic in Merrit in late May.
Did some surfing during a short trip to Tofino on the weekend for Matt’s stag which was quite the workout, I am still sore as I type this!
Hopefully I will have actual training to report next weekend.
