Hard long run today. Ran up to Cleveland Damn from English Bay with Joel. Good strength builder legs a little fatigued. Tara bought a new bike so we will be going for a spin later today.

Long Intervals (2 x 3k)

Back to VFAC Intervals first time since October.
Took it easy didn’t want to injure myself first day back.
2 x 3 km rolling hill loop on the Stanley Park Trails (starting at the teahouse) .
10:28, 10:31 decent workout can only get better.

Cycle / Tempo / Strength

Good thing tommorrows Friday because I am feeling cooked.
Cycle: 1:10
Run: 48 minutes 25 @ Tempo.
Strength: Lunges 8 flights, wobble board squats (3 x 30 seconds), 1 legged cross over squats 2 x 15.

Stumpled upon this Blog http://bostondiet.blogspot.com/ while googling the Kneeknacker, read his about section pretty amazing. This really makes me want to lose the last 10 pounds that are holding me back.
Todays workout same old Bike 1:10 / Easy Run 55:00, the engine building continues.

Bike: 1:10
Easy Run: 45, plus some core after.
My recovery time from back to back hard days is improving significantly. Time to bump up the distance on the Sunday Long Run.

Long Hilly Run (2:04)

Ran the first bit with Tara had her work some hills and some 1k pick ups around Beaver.
Felt good at the end dropped the hammer for 10 minutes.

Hardish Run / 1:04

Ran the first 30 minutes with Tara, then did a 20 minute cruise interval (slightly harder then a Tempo) finished with a 14 minute cool down. Legs are a little cooked from the 2 strength workouts on Tuesday and Thursday.

Windy

Very, very windy. The ride home was brutal litterally had to lean into the wind once I crossed over to English Bay. Did a short run in Coal Harbour to shelter myself from the wind.
Cycle 1:10
Run 38 minuter.
Core/Balance work 15 minutes.
